Welcome to Saint Rose Parish—a community of faith centered in the Eucharist, united in prayer, and committed to living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As members of the Body of Christ, we gather as one family to worship, to serve, and to grow together in God’s love.

Founded in 1940, Saint Rose Parish traces its beginnings to the Saint Rose Chapel, originally built in 1932 as part of Saint Patrick’s Home for Children. As our community grew, the chapel became the heart of a new parish, officially established by Bishop Robert Armstrong. From its earliest days, Saint Rose has been a home to all who seek Christ, and a beacon of faith for generations.

Our parish was profoundly shaped by the ministry of Monsignor Edward Kavanagh, who devoted over 50 years of priestly service to Saint Rose and the children of Saint Patrick’s Home. His love for the Church, his dedication to the poor, and his deep pastoral care helped form a parish community known for its warmth, inclusivity, and strong Catholic identity. Inspired by his legacy, we continue to welcome all with open arms, just as he did—with charity, humility, and joy.

Today, under the spiritual leadership of Father Jose Beltran, who was appointed pastor on July 1, 2019, Saint Rose Parish continues to grow in faith, service, and community. 

Parish life at Saint Rose is vibrant and alive. Many ministries and organizations flourish here, supporting both our liturgical life and our mission of service. Among our liturgical ministries are the Altar Servers, Extraordinary Ministers, Lectors, Followers of Christ, and the Legion of Mary (English and Spanish). We are also blessed by the Ministry of Renewal, the Women of Faith and Hope Ministry, Senior Ministry, Music Ministries, Ushers & our Welcoming Ministry, along with many more.

Our Social Outreach Ministries include the Knights of Columbus, whose charitable work and fraternal service extend our parish’s care to the greater community.

Bienvenidos a la Parroquia Santa Rosa—una comunidad de fe centrada en la Eucaristía, unida en la oración y comprometida a vivir el Evangelio de Jesucristo. Como miembros del Cuerpo de Cristo, nos reunimos como una sola familia para adorar, servir y crecer juntos en el amor de Dios.

Fundada en 1940, la Parroquia Santa Rosa tiene sus orígenes en la Capilla de Santa Rosa, construida originalmente en 1932 como parte del Hogar San Patricio para Niños. A medida que nuestra comunidad fue creciendo, la capilla se convirtió en el corazón de una nueva parroquia, oficialmente establecida por el Obispo Robert Armstrong. Desde sus inicios, Santa Rosa ha sido un hogar para todos los que buscan a Cristo, y un faro de fe para muchas generaciones.

Hoy, bajo la guía espiritual del Padre José Beltrán, quien fue nombrado párroco el 1 de julio de 2019, la Parroquia Santa Rosa continúa creciendo en fe, servicio y comunidad.

La vida parroquial en Santa Rosa es activa y llena de vida. Muchos ministerios y organizaciones florecen aquí, apoyando tanto nuestra vida litúrgica como nuestra misión de servicio. Entre nuestros ministerios litúrgicos se encuentran los Monaguillos, Ministros Extraordinarios, Lectores, Seguidores de Cristo, y la Legión de María (en inglés y español). También contamos con el Ministerio de Renovación, el Ministerio de Mujeres de Fe y Esperanza, Ministerios del Grupo de Adultos Mayores, Ministerios de Música, Ujieres y nuestro Ministerio de Bienvenida, entre muchos más.

Nuestros Ministerios de Acción Social incluyen a los Caballeros de Colón, cuyo trabajo caritativo y servicio fraternal extienden el cuidado de nuestra parroquia a la comunidad en general.
